Australia Post joins forces with Boots For All

As part of its commitment to providing Footy for All , Australia Post is pleased to announce a partnership with not-for-profit organisation Boots For All.

Boots For All is committed to providing quality, second-hand and new sporting equipment for redistribution to disadvantaged teams across Australia – in particular footy boots.   The organisation’s vision is to improve access to sporting equipment for disadvantaged Australians.

This mantra fits well with Australia Post’s desire to help bring footy to all with an emphasis on multicultural and diverse communities who might be socially excluded, geographically excluded or new to Australia.

Australia Post would like to help Boots For All expand their operation to enable more people to benefit from the great work they do.

The partnership will see Australia Post assist with the distribution of the sporting equipment through its extensive Delivery Network.

There will also be opportunities over the next 12 months for Australia Post to engage with communities at a local level and to utilise its retail network to facilitate collection of donated equipment.  This will help more people contribute to the program and help Boots For All connect to more communities around Australia.

Australia Post believes that football is a fantastic mechanism that drives individuals and communities closer together.

Since its inception in 2006, Boots For All has passed on more than 5,500 pairs of footy boots and other sports equipment to disadvantaged children and adults in Melbourne, Regional Victoria, Central, Northern and Western Australia.

Australia Post is the Community Inclusion Partner of the AFL and is involved with the Multicultural Schools Cup and Multicultural Ambassador Program.
